Works from all over the world are currently participating in this year’s Fun Wildlife Photo Contest and have appeared “heavyweight” candidates.
The contest, initiated by photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, has entered its sixth season, attracting photography lovers and interested in the world of wildlife.
The contest, sponsored by the Born Free Foundation, aims to promote the conservation of wildlife and their habitats, through humorous, lighthearted imagery and a positive message.
The prize for the winner is a “ticket” to the safari at the Maasai Mara in Kenya as well as a free camera, software and camera bag.
Among the judges were TV host Kate Humble and comedian Hugh Dennis as well as several wildlife photography experts.
